The Leather Roughing Brush is used on the back of leather hides to clean and make the surface more porous. This allows the surface to become a bit more uneven which improves the adhesion of glues and cement. The brush features a lacquered wooden handle and a protective strap to cover the metal teeth when the brush is not being used.

Great for leatherworking on bracing, shoes, furniture, handbags, clothing, and more!
